Suda Africa) se acerc\u00f3 al Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) y co-financi\u00f3 el desarrollo de la primera c\u00e1mara dise\u00f1ada espec\u00edficamente para im\u00e1genes corona.<\/p><p>Esta c\u00e1mara se denomin\u00f3 CoroCAM\u00ae (Corona Camera) y fue fabricada a pedido por esta organizaci\u00f3n de investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>UViRCO Technologies (Pty) Ltd. se registr\u00f3 en 2008 como una escisi\u00f3n de CSIR.<\/p><p>\u00bfPorque usted necesita una C\u00e1mara Corona?<\/p><p>El efecto corona se indica visualmente mediante un peque\u00f1o resplandor azul alrededor del hardware HV, que solo es visible en condiciones muy oscuras.<\/p><p>Lo que no se ve es la luz ultravioleta invisible generada por la descarga.<\/p><p>CoroCAM crea una imagen de la luz ultravioleta y la superpone a una imagen visible, lo que permite al usuario localizar las descargas de corona.<\/p><p>Una c\u00e1mara de efecto corona es usada en toda la cadena de suministro de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica para visualizar las UV emitidas por descargas parciales externas (Corona, Chispas y Arcos) los cuales son un indicativo de degradaci\u00f3n de los equipos o instalaciones y distribuci\u00f3n.<\/li><li>Subestaciones El\u00e9ctricas.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>La p\u00e9rdida de energ\u00eda de una sola descarga no es costosa, pero si la descarga ocurre en m\u00faltiples ubicaciones, r\u00e1pidamente se registra.<\/p><p>La luz ultravioleta producida por la descarga puede degradar los componentes de caucho y pol\u00edmero cercanos (aisladores y espaciadores de l\u00ednea), reduciendo su vida \u00fatil.<\/p><p>Tambi\u00e9n se producen una variedad de compuestos durante el proceso de ionizaci\u00f3n que pueden atacar varios componentes met\u00e1licos o causar arcos cuando se hidratan, El ruido (audible y de radio) producido durante el proceso de ionizaci\u00f3n puede resultar molesto para las personas cercanas y puede interferir con varios dispositivos
