The continuous monitoring of the air that feeds the turbine provides vital information to control the temperature and humidity of the turbine, which will have an impact by increasing efficiency and reducing the emission of nitrogen oxides mainly. The control of the cooling system in generators either by air or hydrogen is very important to maintain its efficiency and dielectric strength, if the humidity in the air or hydrogen used is too high, the efficiency of the cooling system decreases and can lead to deterioration of the equipment and its dielectric strength, which in the long run will decrease the useful life or in the worst case can trigger a total failure of the generator.<\/p>
