CPC-100
The CPC 100 can be used to perform electrical tests on transformers, current transformers, voltage transformers, grounding systems, power lines and cables and circuit breakers.
The patented test system replaces several individual test devices and offers new and innovative test methods.
The CPC 100 is the basis for various accessories. These enable new applications, e.g. Tan Delta measurements, as well as line and ground impedance measurements.

DIRANA
It allows the detection of moisture in the oil-impregnated paper of transformers by analyzing the dielectric response.
Such a response generates useful information about the condition of the high voltage insulation. However, it is important to subject the insulation to a wide frequency band, as the typical measurement at the mains frequency limits the results.
The equipment measures the dissipation factor and capacitance of rotating machine insulation systems.
It is used to calculate the moisture content of insulation in the following applications:
- Power transformers.
- Cables insulated with paper mass.
- Terminals.
- Instrument transformers (CT/PT)
Delta Tangent
CPTD1
Tangent delta Omicron's transformer diagnostic system is a unique test set that facilitates automatic testing of important transformer parameters in a single portable system. The test system consists of the multifunctional CPC 100 primary test system and the CP TD1 Tangente Delta unit. The patented CPC 100 is the main control unit for the test system and the CP TD1 unit is used to test the insulation condition.
These units together constitute the system that is considered the ideal tool for complete testing of the following parameters of a power transformer:
- Winding resistance.
- Transformer ratio and excitation current.
- On-load tap changer status.
- Leakage reactance.
- Insulation condition (capacitance, delta tangent, power factor).

CIBANO
The CIBANO 500 is the first 3-in-1 system to combine in a single unit a multi-channel timing analyzer, a highly accurate micro-ohmmeter and a powerful source for coils and motors. Allows testing of Medium and High Voltage circuit breakers with live and dead tank.
This innovative concept enables safer and faster wiring, speeds up the joint test process and provides a complete report of all tests performed.
With CIBANO 500 and accessoriesCB MC2 (module for main contacts) and CB TN3 (node for transducers), the following seven tests can be carried out without rewiring:
- Static contact resistance (micro-ohmmeter)
- Minimum excitation test
- Timing tests
- Analysis of coil/motor currents
- Undervoltage test
- Dynamic contact resistance
- Contact displacement test (will be possible in Q3)
CIBANO 500 is powered by OMICRON's Primary Test Manager (PTM) software. The PTM guides the user through the test process and combines all measured results in a single test report.
